Park

The Manor’s park in the English style, measuring 1h in area, was laid out in the second part of the 19th century. In the park you can see Lombardy poplars, weeping willows, pines, spruces, birches, yews, thuyas, walnuts, oaks, ivies bearing fruit and giant boxtrees. A winding path hidden among trees leads to a period garden house bearing elements of the style of the neoclassical manor house. The garden house was designed in 1976 by Prof. Andrzej Gołkowski. Going further down the path you will reach old millstones coming from a windmill in Grzebienisko. Today the stones perform the function of stone tables at which you can sit down for a short rest. On entering the estate, guests are welcomed by a large gate from the 19th century wrought from steel bars. Right next to the gate there is an erratic boulder measuring 299 cm in perimeter and 97 cm high, with a brass plaque commemorating Aleksander and Aleksandra Zakrzewski, two distinguished doctors of the Wielkopolska region. To the left of the entry gate, on a base covered with ivy there stands a statuette of the Mother of God. It is a thanksgiving memento for saving the Grzebienisko village from the plague at the beginning of the 19th century. In the park there is also an outhouse converted from a former stable, built next to the Manor, with a gable red-tiled roof. The outhouse with the park is a monument.
