Hiking

We recommend many walking paths within the park as well as in the neighbourhood. Two kilometers away from the Manor there is a forest complex which consists of: the Reserve of Huby Grzebieniskie, the Reserve of Brzęki przy Starej Gajówce and the Reserve of Bytyńskie Brzęki. The largest forest concentration are forest groups (new mixed forests where pines prevail) and oak forest groups (new forests) – oak trees with some pines and birches. The flora and fauna of the forests surrounding Grzebienisko are rich. Wild boars, roe deer, foxes and hares as well as black storks and cranes, which are under tight protection, can be found here. Within the Reserve of Huby Grzebieniskie there is the only habitat in the Wielkopolska region of the polish orchid – Lady’s Slipper orchid (Cypripedium calceolus) found here with Martagon lily (Lilium martagon). At the reception of the Manor you can borrow precise maps of the neighbourhood.
